i hate looking in the pantry and it being full, but yet there is "nothing" to eat or getting groceries and not having anywhere to put them so they sit on the counter until i use them or find room somewhere. SO...i put our fam on a pantry challenge. only staples will be bought at the store until all the food or most of it at least is gone from the pantry. scary yet kind of looking forward to it a little bit. i have to admit that i haven't been cooking as much as i should and we just make due most nights...i want to be a good cook and have dinner with my fam. d's schedule makes that very difficult, but we will do the best we can.
got the christmas tree the other day. i was too exhausted to go to the tree farm this year so, d was in charge of getting a tall tree from anywhere he chose. he came home with a VERY tall tree and it's beautiful. m loves it and says it's pretty with all the lights. i wrapped garland and lights on the staircase which warms my heart walking up to the front door seeing the lights inside. appreciative that we can do it and it means something to the both of us.
ready for q...i think we all are. we'll get to see how good he is doing on friday. hard to believe it's under two months until his big arrival. loving it. oh...m had his christmas program last sunday. he didn't sing although he did keep saying "i want my mommy" and "i want my daddy." i'll share one of my fave pics soon...let me get over him screaming "NO!" after he got told not to kick one of the little kids while being on stage. lol...he gets it from d i am sure of it.

OOh Maxx. What a character.
I hate that "there's nothing to eat..." too but usually I really don't have anything to eat! lol
