i really should be getting things ready for our trip to nebraska and iowa this week, but instead i am here wasting time. dave is back from his little "vacations" and i am finally with car and able to leave this house...alone! i was in a slum and seem to be coming out of it now that i was able to spend 45 minutes in target tonight-alone-and then dropped dave off at work and drove around with maxxy until he was done. dinner at cici's for 4.68 total always is pleasant, too. then i dropped the boys off at home and went to jcpenney to get the right size of jeans for baby maxx. he now has two pair of real jeans. what a great feeling-to have two pair of jeans and what i feel inside-relief and peace.
we had our family photo shoot at the beginning of this month. click here for some of my faves...now i just really need to decide if i am going to make my christmas cards this year or just order the picture ones. i really should make them, but they are cards! i did order the tally card kit for this reason though. really don't know what i was thinking when i thought "hey, why not make your own cards since you do scrap afterall." maybe.
leaving for dave's parents tomorrow after the kids all leave. will be nice to spend some time with them...it's been since august i believe. they haven't seen maxx crawl yet either so that will be good for them. he pulls himself up to stand now, too. won't be long before that little guy takes off walking although i would prefer he not crawl or walk...ever. we leave there wednesday to go to my mama's for thanksgiving day...excited to see her again and spend some time there. we will leave friday afternoon to head back to dave's parents and then spend the weekend. we will be able to see d, b, and the kids, too so that will be nice. anxious to hear what they think of maxx now.
dave and i will celebrate our three year anniversary on the 27th...think i said that the other day, but anyway, hoping we will be able to sneak away friday or saturday night for dinner or something-alone. we were talking the other day and realized how critical it is for our relationship that we make time for each other without anyone else around. that will be our anniversary present for each other this year. oh and a card. well, i got one for him at least.
i am sure that i won't be on here again before the holiday is over so, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you. i hope that you have a fab time with your families no matter how big or small and we all remember what we have to be thankful for. i know i will. xoxo.
