polish hammer

it's opening day for the orlando magic hence the title to this post.  right before i starting typing this, d yells, "polish hammer!"  i'm sure there will be some more random thoughts thrown in here before i am done. 

onto more important things...i scrapped last night.  its a combination layout for category stories and a sketch challenge for magpie club.  i stumbled upon them through cs and then saw that julie who is on the design team with me at jen's house is on magpie's design team and it was her sketch!  i liked the site so i gave it a go with the sketch.  *jj (my fave player) just made a 3. :)*  and for all of you who are reading this that are scrappers and play along at cs, you are getting a sneak peek of what the topic is for november!  i didn't use the actual topic on my layout so really not giving it away. ha.

my aunt is home from the hospital and doing 8000 times better than before.  was pretty scary there for awhile, but she is back on farmtown and island paradise so all is good.  thank you for the prayers.  the daycare prospect from monday...ummmm no freaking way.  it was a church, but man they were unorganized and the one year olds were in one room all day with no windows and it was small.  the teacher was not very nice or welcoming when we went in and m looked twice everyone's age and above them developmentally.  d had the same feelings so we left there knowing we would be on the search once again.  and luckily i found a cute little country church just outside of town who has an opening and we are going to go check it out tomorrow.  good feelings about this one and i saw pics online of what the daycare looks like and that is a huge improvement over the last place!  got a job at a grocery store.  looked and had interviews lined up for a "real" 8-5 job, but i wanted the flexibility of a "fluff" job so i could still do things for m and not feel guilty or pressured for taking time off.  i have orientation tomorrow and i am looking forward to it.  still at chili's as well...it's ok.  not the same without sara.  missing her.
